Usage [ ]
Glass blocks adjacent to other glass blocks are invisible when viewed through glass.
Mobs cannot normally spawn on drinking glass blocks. An exception to this is zombie reinforcement, which tin can result in unexpected zombies "sneaking into" an otherwise secure area. Glass blocks (but not drinking glass panes) besides block a mob'due south line of sight for the purposes of aggro; e.g. a zombie will not begin targeting a player if in that location are glass blocks betwixt the actor'southward center level and the zombie'south eye level, though it can all the same pathfind around them. Mobs may also however look at the actor through the glass, only this is purely visual.
Redstone dust and components tin can be placed on glass, simply cannot power glass. Glass can't cut vertical redstone. Vertical redstone tin be placed on glass. In Java Edition, it transmits redstone signals upwards, not downwardly. Otherwise, drinking glass in redstone circuits is functionally the same as an upside-downwardly slab.
Lite does not travel through tinted glass blocks.
